Never going to wear your sparkly New Year's Eve outfit again? Think again! Recycle your looks and tailor them to a more casual style.

Adding a t-shirt to a typically formal look is the easiest way to make dress down your look and appear more edgy. It's preferable (in my opinion) to have your shirt a little baggy and loose fitting to help stylize the look. Consider wearing a shirt a size or two up.

Wearing sneakers or boots instead of a pump or stiletto will also make your look not so "New Year, New Me" . Not to mention , they're way more comfortable any way!

Have a sequins dress you are positive you won't wear again? Consider throwing a skirt over your dress to have your dress function as a cute top instead! This will cut down on how reflective and flashy your outfit is.

If none of these options work for you , that's okay too! You can always sell gently used clothes Buffalo Exchange , Plato's Closet , or Poshmark. Goodwill , shelter, and Becca's Dresses are also great options if you're in caring mood this year!
