This Friday I hit up the town...downtown Orlando that is.
Here are the great finds I (literally) stumbled upon this week.
Parking
When heading downtown, timing is everything!
Around 5-6pm there are plenty of options to choose from. One of my favorite spots is located on the map below. There is 2hr parking until 6pm and any time after that is free! If you get there before 6pm, parking is made easy by the "Parkmobile" app. Just download the app, input your car and card information, select a time/ amount to add, and your all set. The app will even notify you when your time is expired! Don't worry about running back to your car, you can simply add additional time from the app.
Every Friday, Ember Orlando has an a m a z i n g happy hour from 4:30pm-7pm. Its 3-4-1 beer, wells, calls, and even top shelf drinks! The only drinks not on special are Patron and Hennessy, so beware. Entry is free and you can choose from outdoor or indoor seating. Both areas are equipped with full bars and are filled with music as the DJ pumps out everything from old school 90s jams to today's billboard top 100 hits. This is a great spot to come after a long week at work. Not to mention an awesome deal to get 3 drinks for the price of 1. #TalkAboutTheSavings
Everyone who knows me, knows that this is one of my favorite spots! If you love tacos, this is a great place to go. Their "Double D's" tacos are simply outstanding. And if that menu items offends you, your in for a treat with this sarcastically sexualized themed menu. This taco is stacked with hard and soft taco shells held together by melty queso and with meat (your choice), cheese, lettuce, sour cream and a sprinkle of pico de gallo. YUM! And if you ask nicely, they'll give you chips and salsa for free! They also have a happy hour from 4pm-8pm EVERYDAY - $2 (basic) Tacos and $5 burritos. Now thats a deal!
