"B" Mingling

Florida Wedding Expo This week I had the absolute pleasure of volunteering with Your Wedding TV. This company is in charge of running the , the ultimate bridal show. This expo connects couples with vendors, by giving them a one stop shopping playground to frolic and hop from booth to booth, grilling vendors about their services. As a Event Management graduate, volunteering at this show is like hitting the jackpot! I get to watch production of the show, network with people in the industry, and enjoy the event all at the same time.
This time however, I volunteered for the vendor appreciation event. This proved to be a much better gig since they put me in charge of social media this time around!
The event was hosted at the luxurious and sophisticated modern B Resort & Spa. Let me tell you, these people are BIG on their Branding. There was a B on just about everything during these event. Even the event was branded after the hotel: "B Mingling"
When I stepped into the ballroom, my jaw dropped. Between the curvaceous flow of the drapes to the decadent crystal chandeliers which seemed to be suspended in thin air. It was almost like in the matrix when the rain fell in slow motion(lol).
The dance floor even twinkled! How awesome is that??
There was food around every corner of the ballroom, literally. They offered pulled pork/chicken sliders to mac n cheese served in a martini glasses and bite size appetizers.
And lets not forget about the desserts. I usually "donut" indulge myself with sweets, but don't these look amazing?! (Ha! See what I did there?) I could't resist grabbing a cupcake...and a cake pop....and maybe a donut too.
Being in charge of the event's social media for the night was a nice change from doing guest registration. It allowed me to interact with the guests more and even do some networking. All in all, the team for the Florida Wedding Expo and B Resort & Spa did an amazing job creating an atmosphere that surpassed all expectations.
